David Pinkham of Leesburg, Va., took advantage of the Dec. 27 snowstorm to try out his cross-country skis in Discovery Park on the L.L. Bean campus. Pinkham, who was staying at the nearby Harraseeket Inn with his wife Lisa, strapped on his skis and circled the park while waiting for the hourly L.L. Bean Christmas tree light show.Send questions/comments to the editors.
