SCARBOROUGH – The Windham High School boys basketball team traveled to Scarborough Tuesday night, and given a choice probably would have preferred the storm outside the gym – freezing cold rain blowing sideways – to the Storm that awaited them inside. The Red Storm (2-2) had four players score in double figures, using a press and pressure defense to force turnover after turnover in a 68-49 win.
The Eagles found their sweet spot – however brief – in the third quarter, when sophomore Kevin Weisser settled into a rhythm that resulted in three straight 3-point shots from the left side of the arc. Weisser led the Eagles with 14 points, while older brother Dylan, a senior, added nine points.
Sam Terry and Dillon Russo led the Red Storm with 18 points each. Twelve of Terry’s points came from beyond the 3-point arc. Brendon Hall added 12 points and Kevin Manning had 11 points. Terry, Russo and Hall are all senior captains on the team.

Dillon Russo is used to this kind of contact, but usually it was on the football field. Russo is fouled after pulling down his missed shot and trying to go back up.
