TOPSHAM — Mr. Rick Steven Ciminello, 61, of Topsham, ME passed away on November 18, 2012. His family was the love of his life. Rick was an active member of the Topsham Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Rick was also a Boston sports enthusiast and lived life to the fullest.

He was born in Bronx, NY on September 20, 1951. He was the son of Nicholas and Mary (Symotiuk) Ciminello. He graduated from Valhalla High School, class of 1969. He earned his baccalaureate degree in Business from Western New England College, in Springfield, MA.

He was retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Veterans Canteen Service after faithfully serving 37 years. He received the Veterans Canteen Service Career Achievement Award.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lydia (Paolini) Ciminello and children: Nicholas and Roseanna Ciminello; his father Nicholas Ciminello, a sister Candice and brother-in-law Larry Conde; his brother-in-law, Michael Paolini; sister in-law, RoseMarie Paolini and mother-inlaw, Mary Paolini; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary (Symotiuk) Ciminello.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Topsham Fair Mall Rd., Topsham. Interment will follow in Rogers Cemetery in Topsham.
