BRUNSWICK — The Maine Women’s Giving Tree, a local grant-making philanthropy, is calling on area nonprofit organizations to apply for grants in 2013.

Groups must have the proper tax status and operate programs benefiting women, children and families in Bath, Brunswick, Freeport, Harpswell, Phippsburg, Topsham, Wiscasset or Woolwich.
