A TOPSHAM PUBLIC WORKS CREW works Wednesday to repair a culvert under the surface of the Old Augusta Road near the intersection with U.S. Route 201. The going has been slow because they are working below a gas main, so much of the work requires manual digging with shovels, rather than using a backhoe. The repair is due to be finished today, officials said.
