SANFORD — A 48-year-old Sanford man died following a single car crash on Alfred Road Monday morning.

Robie Robinson was driving on Alfred Road near Jagger Mill Road when the car left the road and crashed. Rescue workers declared Robinson dead at the scene, police said.

Traffic was not affected.The crash is under investigation.
