Tuesday, Sept. 4
Theft – At 4:15 p.m., a Harlow Street resident reported the theft of a Mercury 50hp outboard motor valued at $7,500 from a boat parked in the yard of the property. A chain attaching the motor to the boat was cut.
Friday, Sept. 7
Theft – A male subject was observed switching price tags on merchandise at Cabela’s. The man later “surrendered several items” purchased with fraudulent gift cards or with incorrect tags. Charges are pending.
Concert detail – Incidents logged by police at the Lynyrd Skynyrd/ ZZ Top concert at Scarborough Downs included treatment of a heavily intoxicated male, a case of underage drinking and the ejection of three male patrons. In addition, one man was issued a summons for possession of scheduled drugs. Names were not available on reports incomplete at press time.
Saturday, Sept. 8
Theft – By the time a saddle was reported stolen from a Beech Ridge Road at 6:51 p.m. it already had been recovered by Saco police.
