FREEPORT — Donald Keith Cray, 81, died peacefully on Sunday, September 9,2012, at his home, with his loving family at his side. Donald was born on September 8, 1931 in Presque Isle, Maine the son of Oliver and Grace Cray. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1949. Then went to serve in the army during the Korean Conflict. Don worked in the Fire Protection Industry for 43 years as area superintendent and regional sales manager for Grinnell Fire Protection. He was a proud union member of Local 669, an avid snowmobiler, and loved outdoor activities.

Donald was predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years Janice Stetson Cray, his parents Oliver and Grace, and brother Howard, and a stepson David Stilkey.

Don is survived by his second wife, Evelyn Cray, a daughter Vicki Cray- Henson, and a son Michael Cray, and three granddaughters, Rachel, Nichole, and Danielle. Also survived by his stepchildren Donald Stilkey, Christopher Stilkey, Brian Stilkey, Donna Ringrose, and Brenda Williams.

Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church on Main Street in Freeport on Friday, September 14, 2014 at 12 pm, Service to follow at 1 pm. Interment will be held at Burr Cemetery in Freeport, Maine. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Gray. www.wilson funeralhome.us.
