BATH — Eight artists offer their vision and interpretation of “The Maine Home — Inside & Out” beginning tonight at the Chocolate Church Art Gallery, 804 Washington St.
An opening reception will kick off the exhibit from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit runs through Sept. 15.
Artwork features encaustic (a form of painting with hot beeswax) photography, painting and pottery.
The following artists are part of the show: Sara Szwajkos,
Alison Rector, Marsha Feller, Hati Modr, Matthew Ahlers, Ellen Thayer, Andrea Black and kdb-Karen Dominguez.
A news release describes the exhibit as one in which “the viewer will feel like a voyeur into the lives of some interesting and sometimes funky, often old but always interesting Maine homes, gardens and structures.
