Frances G. Mathieu, 83, of Alfred and a longtime resident of Sanford, died Aug. 6 at The Pavilion in Sanford after a long illness. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Notre Dame Church of St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, 10 Payne St. in Springvale. Jonathan Albert Peare, 30, formerly of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 in Naoma, W.Va. A celebration of Jonathan’s life will be held at New Song Church, 320 Expo Blvd., Lenoir, NC 28645, on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Hawkins and Pastor Phil Case officiating. Sara Elizabeth Worthing, 19, a resident of Wells, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, due to complications from pneumonia. Sara passed from this world surrounded by her loving family.
