BRUNSWICK — The Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance (MWPA) has launched a new series of Saturday writing workshops that stretches from July to September.
The workshops focus on a variety of writing disciplines, including fiction, memoir, poetry and more.
In Brunswick, Howard Waxman will teach “Read with Conviction: How to Present Your Writing to a Live Audience” at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Curtis Memorial Library.
In Bath, Josephina Gasca will conduct a two-part fiction workshop called “PEN2PAGE: Learn to Jumpstart Your Fiction” from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 11 and Aug. 25 at Patten Free Library.
Fellowships are available for each workshop.
