BRUNSWICK — The Theater Project’s Young People’s Theater Camp will stage “Diary of A Wimpy Kid” today through Sunday at 14 School St.
The production features 19 actors between 9 and 12 years old.
“We spend a lot of time on fun theater exercises that help the actors understand their characters and the situations they find themselves in,” teacher and director Karin Baard, a Theater Project alum. “We’ve come up with our own version of ‘Diary of A Wimpy Kid’ that takes inspiration from the story, and then we go wild with our imaginations. … it’s a lot of fun.”
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, as well as at 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is “pay what you want,” with a suggested donation of $6.
