Libby-Mitchell, made up of players from Scarborough High School, ran up the runs against visiting Bristol Seafood, featuring Deering High School players, in the first game of a Saturday morning American Legion baseball doubleheader, winning 15-3 in the fifth inning when the 12-run mercy rule kicked in. Will LeBlond and Ryan Mancini led the Libby-Mitchell offensive effort with three RBI a piece. Starting pitcher Jayme Lappin got the win. Libby-Mitchell won second game by forfeit.
