• Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist Paul Sullivan will play a concert at 7 p.m. July 27 at River Tree Arts, 35 Western Ave., Kennebunk. The concert is in conjunction with the “Painters, Players and Poets” exhibition at River Tree’s Irvine Art Gallery through Aug. 4.

The multi-media art experience features the work of 49 Maine-based artists, writers, composers and furniture makers. The composers and poets identified a living Maine painter whose work inspired them, and then interpreted a specific painting through poetry or musical composition. For “Painters, Players, and Poets,” Sullivan interpreted the painting “Cecile” by Cynthia Stroud in his composition of the same name.

Tickets cost $15, and are available at brownpapertickets.com/event/260273 or by calling 967-9120.
