He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War along with his 3 brothers, Paul, Wayne and his twin, Barry.
In 1982, he traveled throughout the country working as a carpenter and in other areas. Stanley helped in the building of a Texas baseball stadium and the historical society and worked for the carnivals. Every few years, he would return to Maine to visit his family. Stanley was greatly loved by those who truly knew him.
He is survived by his Mother, Iona Osnoe of Topsham, brothers Paul and his wife Patricia of Bowdoin, Dana of Brunswick and twin Barry of Plymouth, MN, sister Gwen Schultz and her husband Brian, also of Plymouth, MN, Aunt Rosalie Deschenes, Uncle Donald Lachance and his wife Chantral, son Stanley Baker and daughter Jessica
Baxter, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, two brothers, Calvin and
Wayne and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14th at 2PM at the TNT Bible Ministries Church, 213 Foreside Rd, Topsham. A reception will immediately follow the service at the Topsham American Legion Hall, Post 202, 79 Foreside Road, Topsham. Burial was at Growstown Cemetery, Church Road, Brunswick.
