Ford’s new book, “Canada,” published in May, has garnered critical acclaim and is on the New York Times best seller list.
“Canada” is Ford’s 10th work of fiction, including “The Bascombe Novels” and three collections of short stories. His novel “Independence Day” won the Pulitzer Prize and the PEN-Faulkner Award.
He has written many essays for such publications as the New York Times, The New Yorker, The Guardian of London, La Repubblica and El Pais. His books have been translated into 26 languages.
He lives with his wife, Kristina Ford, in East Boothbay.
