KAY MILLER will lead a printmaking demonstration on monotypes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Saltwater Artists Gallery on Route 130 just before the Pemaquid Point Park entrance in Bristol. Monotypes make only one print and occasionally a lighter print called a “ghost,” as opposed to etchings, which can produce numerous prints, called an edition. Miller will bring her portable press and supplies, and visitors can try monotype printmaking. Miller has 10 years experience and is a member of the Midcoast Printmakers Inc., a nonprofit organization. No reservations are necessary for Sunday’s gallery demonstration.
