HARPSWELL — Clara E. Leeman 72, of Harpswell died on June 15, 2012 at The Hospice house in Auburn.
Clara was born Dec. 8, 1939 in Woolwich to the late Fred and Claire Morse. She was the fourth of eight children.
Clara married Kenneth Leeman on June 12, 1977 together they raised nine children.
Clara worked at the Brunswick convalescent center before becoming a full time housewife. She was a very active woman and enjoyed working in her gardens, sewing, making crafts and spending time with family and friends. She also was an active member of TOPSME 281.
Clara is survived by her husband, Kenneth Leeman, her children; Priscilla Driscoll, Herbert Reynolds, Scott Leeman, Toni McIntire, Beth Maffett, Donna Tolley, Ronnie Reynolds, Roy and Jimmy Leeman, numerous grandchildren and five great granddaughters. Siblings; Rosalie and Perry Malcolm, Myrtle Rainey, Freda and David Wallace, Frank and Kathy Morse, Bruce and Linda Morse.
Clara was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela and brothers; Teddy and Charlie.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11am at the Elks, 9 Lambard St. Bath, ME.
