BAILEY ISLAND — Michael A. Perry, 50, loving husband and father passed away after a long battle with cancer on June 17, 2012 at Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Waltham, MA and moved to Cumberland, ME in 1976, graduating from Greely High School.

He was a meticulous craftsman always paying close attention to details in both design and building. He was quick to volunteer his knowledge and skills to anyone in need.

He loved his family, his home and his friends. He was passionate about music and taught us all how to appreciate the importance of high quality sound. He was especially fond of the fireside gatherings where his brothers played guitar.

Michael is survived by his parents Richard and Phyllis Perry of Freeport; his sons, Isaac and Zachary of Bailey Island; his three brothers and their families: Mark and Lori of Falmouth; Craig and Pam and their children: Mitchell and Sydney of Brunswick; John and Pam and their children: Danielle and

Jake of Freeport.

The family would like to thank the friends and communities who gave their constant support and prayers during Michael’s difficult battle. A special thanks to Dr. Chase and her colleagues at Parkview for their compassionate care.

We will celebrate Michael’s life on Saturday June 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Lindquist Funeral Home, One Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth. Please visit www.lindquistfuneralhome.com to view a video collage of Michael’s life and to share your condolences, memories and tributes with his family.
