She was born in Arcade, NY on June 14, 1927 the daughter of Benjamin Kneeland and Amy Gertrude Borgus Robinson.
In 1944 in Buffalo, she married Fredrick Russell Steadman who died in 1965 and in 1966 she married Richard Charles Eames. In 1968 she married Richard Owens Clark who died in 1992.
Mrs. Clark has resided most of her life in the Caneadea-Belfast, NY area and had attended the Nunda school district. She has been an assembler at the Motorola Corp. in Arcade from 1966 until her retirement in 1989.
Betty was and avid bingo player, enjoyed card playing and reading. She loved her two cats and her family.
She was a member of the Robert W. Howden Belfast American Legion Auxiliary Post # 1504.
She is survived by her 2 sons Richard Russell (Linda) Steadman of Lisbon and Robert Charles (Linda) Steadman of Evansville, Indiana; her five daughters Peggy Ann (James) Heflin of Middleburg, FL, Shirley Ann (Lawrence) Riehle of Friendship, Barbara Ann (Dennis) Meyers of Lisbon, Carol Ann (Eric) Schutt of Lisbon and Gloria Ann (Dean) Seamon of Belfast, NY; 17 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a grandson Russell Adams and a sister Arlah Robinson.
Funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Oramel Cemetery in Caneadea, NY. Arrangements under the care of the Dostie Funeral Home, Lewiston, ME. 782- 8221. Donations may be made in her name to the Amercian Cancer Society 1 Main Street, Topsham, ME 04086-1240.
