SCARBOROUGH — A South Portland man remains in critical condition tonight after crashing his motorcycle early Saturday morning.

A spokeswoman for Maine Medical Center said 26-year-old Jonathan Hebert of South Portland is in critical condition.

Hebert was injured around 5:30 a.m. Saturday when his motorcycle crashed off Pleasant Hill Road. At the time, Scarborough police said his injuries appeared to be life threatening.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
