SABATTUS — Stacy Lee Stevens, 47, of Sabattus, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, May 3rd after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in the presence of her loving family. Stacy was born on October 24, 1964, in Brunswick, ME to Frank Golletti and Charmaine Bagley. She was a graduate of Lisbon High School, Class of 1983.

On March 5, 1983, Stacy married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Rocky Stevens, with whom she remained married for twenty-nine wonderful, blessed years. She worked at McTeague Higbee of Topsham as a paralegal for over twenty years. As a longstanding member of Open Door Bible Baptist Church, she actively participated in the church choir and taught Sunday School. She also coached the cheerleading squad for Open Door Christian Academy. Stacy’s passion was readily manifested in her selfless, attentive care of her family and of those she loved. She was an avid reader of literature, master of trivia, and fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Stacy’s extraordinary faith in God strengthened those whose lives she had touched throughout her life and gives peace to those she’s left behind.

Stacy is survived by her husband, Rocky Stevens of Sabattus; son, Nathan Stevens of Norfolk, VA; daughter, Meagan Burnham and her husband Brandon of Sabattus; son, Mitchell Stevens of Sabattus; father, Frank Golletti of Fla.; mother, Charmaine Bagley and her husband Chuck of Lisbon Falls; brother, Al Golletti of Litchfield; grandson, Colton Burnham of Sabattus; and a great number of extended family.

Visitation to be held at the Open Door Bible Baptist Church on Thursday, May 10th, from 3 to 4 p.m. followed by a celebration of her life at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the family to help with funeral costs. 18 Wildwood Landing, Sabattus, ME 04280.
