WISCASSET — Donald W. Leavitt, Jr., 77, died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at his residence.
He was predeceased by his wife, Merrye V. Leavitt on November 3, 2011.
He is survived by one son, Donald M. Leavitt and his wife Valerie, one daughter, Vickie L. Hersom and her husband Robert, all of Wiscasset.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday at the Funeral Home in Bath.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wiscasset at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 7, Edgecomb, 04556. Condolences may be made online at www.daiglefuneralhome.com.
