His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Robert had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life.
Robert was born Feburary 21, 1976, in Augusta, Maine and was a lifelong area resident of Brunswick & Topsham. Attended High School at Mt. Ararat. He worked at Coombs Landscaping. Prior to his diagnosis in 2009, Robert’s passions were spending time with his friends and just having a "good ole time"
He is preceded by, Earl Lowery (grandfather), Mary Anne E. (Lowery) York, (mother), He is survived by Priscilla (Pat) Lowery (grandmother), Orland V. York, (father), Norman and Donna Lowery (uncle & aunt) Julian (Mike) and Beverly Lowery (uncle and aunt), his Sisters, Mary Anne P. Bartlett and her boy friend, Neil MacDonald, Donna L. (Robshaw) and her husband David Inman, Lee Anne E. (Robshaw) and her husband Eric Terry, and fours Brothers, David W. Bartlett, Phillip J. Bartlett, David York & Roger York, four nieces, Mary Ruth (Kathy) Robshaw, Kateryna (Kat) Mac- Donald, Brittany M. Lasley & Crystal Leavitt; 2 nephews, Tyler S. Terry & Ethan C. Terry. And a great niece, Jaelynn N. Robshaw.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick with Reverend Ron McLaughlin officiating. In lieu of sending flowers memorial contributions may be made to: The ALS Association Northern New England Chapter, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 309 Concord, NH 03301 in Robert E. York’s memory.
