WOOLWICH — The driver of a Jeep Wrangler that crashed and rolled on its side Friday morning was not injured.
The crash was reported to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department at 8:45 a.m., according to Lt. Calvin Temple.
Francis Greenleaf, 58, of 212 River Road, Richmond was driving a 1998 Jeep Wrangler south on Route 128 in Woolwich. As he maneuvered around a sharp corner, the Jeep drifted to the right, struck a guardrail, then struck some trees and rolled onto its side, according to Temple.
No one was injured. No passengers were listed in the report, Temple said. The Jeep ,which had a valid inspect sticker but had a bad frame, according to Temple, was towed away.
The cause of the crash is unknown. No charges were filed. Deputy Steve Thibeault handled the crash.
