She lived in Bath for over 17 years. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 5, 1928 to parents Hans Peter and Ethel Marie (Berggreen) Carlsen.
She married Joseph Charles Seigh August 21, 1948 in Englewood, NJ.
Her gardens were unequaled and her knowledge of horticulture was second to none, however, she was above all devoted to her husband and family.
She is survived by husband, of Bath, children Joseph W. of Nashua, NH., Gordon (Connie) of Pleasant Valley, NY, Virginia (John) Coury of Fort Gratiot, MI, Gunnar of Nassau, NY, Peter of Chicago, IL.; Grandchildren, Aaron (Kimberly), Carter (Stephanie), and Katrina Seigh, Katherine and Jack Coury, and great grandson Noah, cousin Douglas (Verne) Solveson of Georgetown, ME. Private services will be held.
Arrangements are by Desmond Funeral Home of Bath. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Coastal Humane Society, Inc., 30 Range Rd., Brunswick, ME 04011.
