Drawing spectators from throughout downtown Brunswick, crews from the Brunswick Parks and Recreation and Public Works Departments position, and plant a 24-foot Norway spruce tree Thursday afternoon on the Brunswick Mall. The new tree replaces a Douglas fir that workers felled last fall to accommodate road work designed to make travel safer near First Parish Church at the other end of the Mall.
