TOPSHAM — There is still time to purchase tickets to have New England’s “King of Comedy” Bob Marley laugh you out of your seat in a special benefit performance at the Orion Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The PG-13 performance will benefit the Mt. Ararat High School class of 2012 Project Graduation. Following graduation, students will go whitewater rafting with Adventure Bound in Caratunk.

Tickets to the show cost $15 and are available at the service counter at Hannaford’s supermarket in Topsham, Michaud’s Market in Topsham and from seniors and their families.

Also as part of the Project Graduation fundraiser, “Summer Fun” raffle tickets are now on sale and can be purchased from seniors and their families, or by contacting Kim Totten at 666-5542 or at tottenkb@comcast.net. Included in the raffle prize package is a whitewater rafting trip for two worth $148 through Adventure Bound; a $100 gift certificate to Cook’s Lobster House; a free portrait sitting at Nancy Merrill Photography in Sabattus; a Bailey Island Lobster Company gift certificate six 1.25-pound lobsters worth approximately $50; a $25 gift certificate to Lands End Gift Shop on Bailey Island; a gift certificate to a Bailey Island General Store for a luncheon special; a Bob Marley tote bag, coasters, can cozies and sticker; and a Frisbee.

Additional items may be added to the package before the drawing, which will take place at the Bob Marley show. Tickets cost $1 each or $5 for six tickets.
