BRUNSWICK ARTIST Nancy Rynes has been selected by a jury of national art experts to participate in the prestigious Art of the Animal Kingdom XVII at the Bennington Center for the Arts in Bennington, Vt. Rynes’ work, titled “Cat Nap,” was chosen from a lineup of more than 300 artists for Art of the Animal Kingdom. “I’m very excited about the opportunity to exhibit my work in Art of the Animal Kingdom,” Rynes said in a release. “My purpose as an artist is to create art that will draw attention to the beauty of the world’s animal life and I am honored to participate in an event which aligns so closely with my personal goals.” The Art of the Animal Kingdom XVII exhibit will run from June 16 through Aug. 5 at the Bennington Center for the Arts, 44 Gypsy Lane, Bennington, Vt.
