BRUNSWICK — The Cathance River Education Alliance (CREA) and Project Learning Tree will collaborate for Earth Week programming associated with screenings of the film “Play Again” at the Frontier Café in Fort Andross. Earth Week begins Sunday and runs through April 29.
“Play Again” is an awardwinning documentary directed by Tonje Hessen Schei, produced by Meg Merrill and edited by David Bee. The soundtrack includes music from Icelandic band Sigur Ros and singer Kimya Dawson.
The documentary film “encourages individuals, families, schools, and communities to examine their relationships with both screen technology and nature, and inspires them to take action to reconnect children to the natural world,” a CREA release states.
The film will be shown April 26 through April 29. The 8 p.m. screening April 26 will be followed by a Skype question and-answer discussion with Outreach Coordinator Greg Lemieux as well as discussion hosted by the supporting groups.
CREA and Project Learning Tree also will exhibit displays that raise awareness about their organizations and will be there to answer questions.
Tickets cost $6 for matinees or $7.50 for screenings after 5 p.m. For more information, call 725- 5222 or visit www.explorefrontier.com.
