GORHAM (AP) — Another suspicious fire in Gorham has been declared an arson.
Maine fire investigators say a grass fire was set near an unoccupied house, the intended target, but the wind blew the fire in another direction early Wednesday.
Steve McCausland from the Maine Department of Public Safety says it was the fifth arson fire in the past three weeks in Gorham.
Fire investigators continue to work with the Gorham police and fire departments, and authorities are urging residents to be vigilant.
