TOPSHAM — The Medomak District of the Garden Club Federation of Maine will hold its annual meeting May 7 at Topsham Public Library, 25 Foreside Road.

The Medomak District, with garden clubs from Bath, Boothbay Region, Camden, Wiscasset and Topsham, is one of the seven districts of the state organization.

Linda Redman, Medomak District president, will preside over the annual meeting during which each garden club will report on its programs and accomplishments of the past year.

The Topsham Garden Club will host the day’s activities, taking its theme of “An English Garden Party” directly from the speaker’s program. The morning’s annual meeting will be followed by a luncheon and program.

Topsham Garden Club member Claudia Knox will give an illustrated presentation titled "Bringing English Gardens to Maine.”

The event is open to all. The registration fee is $ 30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Registration deadline is Friday.
