BOWDOINHAM — The School Administrative District 75 board of directors is scheduled to hear a presentation on the final draft budget for 2012-13 at its meeting at 6 p.m. today at Bowdoinham Community School.

The Finance Committee held the last of three scheduled public budget forums April 5 and met Tuesday to complete the draft budget and its recommendation to the school board. The school board is scheduled to formally approve the budget at its April 26 meeting.

Today’s meeting agenda includes other business items.

After several recognitions, the board will meet in executive session to discuss negotiations with the Merrymeeting Employees Association.

The school board also slated to accept the resignation of Kathleen Murphy, physical therapist, effective Aug. 31.

Board members also will vote whether to accept a list of tuition students for the 2012-13 academic year: Alex McCarthy, ninth grade from Durham; Emma Cote, 10th grade from Georgetown; Piper Dedek, first grade from Bath; and Lucy Lajoie, first grade from Brunswick.

The school board is scheduled to consider granting Mt. Ararat High School juniors May 29 as a “compensation day” for their Saturday, May 5, SAT requirements.

The Policy Committee, which will meet at 5 p.m. today to discuss weighted grades and foreign students, will report to the full board.

Superintendent Brad Smith is scheduled to report on the assistant superintendent and high school athletic director searches.
