PORTLAND — A woman was injured Thursday night when the car she was driving hit a van and struck the foundation of an apartment building near the intersection of Brackett and Danforth streets.
Lt. Robert Ridge said a 56-year-old woman, whose name was not available, was treated by ambulance crews at the scene of the crash after her 1997 Toyota Camry struck an apartment building at 187 Danforth St.
Ridge said the Camry collided with a 2000 Chevrolet Ventura mini-van before it ran into the building. The van struck a utility pole.
No injuries were reported inside the building. The accident took place around 7:30 p.m.
