Coach: Judy Martin
Last year’s record: 6-6, lost to Kennebunk in semifinals
Key returning players: The Scots are led by experienced junior Sam Campobasso, who should be a potent scorer throughout the season. Junior Shannon Sanborn will be tasked with leading the defense, while senior Jess MacDonald and junior Rachel Litif guard midfield.
Season outlook: “Our first game against Westbrook will be good game to start with,” Martin said. “We always have a good game against them. Another key game is against Gorham. In the long run, we are looking to make the playoffs again this year.”

Key returning players: The Scots will roster five returning seniors and two juniors from last year’s team, including Kate Quinn, Emily Duggan, Paige Wormwood and Mikayla?Welch.
Season outlook: Weaver is first-year coach, and his honesty is refreshing in an era when many teams inflate their potential to unrealistic levels during the preseason. “We had maybe one win last year – I don’t know the exact record,” he said. “Overall, we are not a strong team. I think we may win some matches, but I doubt we’ll scare anyone who has an accomplished team.”
