She was born in Bath on February 13, 1913 the daughter of Thomas and Martha Gallagher.
She attended Bath Schools and in 1935 married Joseph Arsenault. Louise was a loving mother who took great pride in raising her children. Family was very important to her and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She will be sadly missed.
Louise was a communicant of All Saints Parish, St. Mary’s Church and a longtime member of the Daughters of Isabella.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1980, a son, Robert, 2 sisters, Margaret and Carrie, 2 brothers, Lawrence and Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Richard Arsenault and his wife Rachel of Colchester, CT;. a daughter-in-law, Robert’s wife, Patty; a brother, Frank and a sister Virginia. Also 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, April 2nd from 11:00–1:00 p.m. at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following visiting hours on Monday at 1: 30pm at All Saints Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 144 Lincoln Street, Bath. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery. To share your thoughts with Louise’s family, please visit www.desmondfuneralhomes.com.
