TOPSHAM, ME AND HILO, HI — William Clinton Holloway Jr., age 56 died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at his childhood home in Topsham, ME.

He was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 9, 1956, the son of William Sr. and Genevieve Willis Holloway.

He was a 1974 graduate of Mount Ararat High School in Topsham, ME. He then joined the Topsham police force and attended the police academy. He was the youngest sargent in the state of Maine. Bill served as a sergeant with the Topsham Police Force for years where he was a firearms expert. Bill then worked as a tin smith at Bath Iron Works.

Bill hiked the Appalachian Trail and headed West where he did construction and carpentry work for the needy and anyone that asked.

He was a Jack of All Trades.

Bill was a Hawaiian at heart and spoke the language, he loved to talk story. Bill lived in Arizona and California and had resided in Hawaii for the last 15 years. Every year he would return to Topsham, ME where he would assist his parents with their travel to their winter home in St. Cloud, FL. Bill was a hunting and fishing enthusiast and every year when he came home to Topsham he would hunt and fish with his sons.

He is survived by his Mother Genevieve Holloway of Topsham, ME, two sons Chad Holloway and his wife Dori from Bowdoin and Micah Holloway and his wife Hannah from Lebanon, a brother Paul Holloway of Redway, CA, a sister Beth Holloway and her fiancé Jeff Slauenwhite of Litchfield, ME, grandchildren Colbie, Loni, Lucia and Sawyer. Nieces Michelle and Meagan Arsenault of Litchfield and Jenna Holloway Dumais of Sabattus. His beloved dog Mojo.

He was predeceased by his Father, William Sr. on February 3, 2012 and his brother Donald Holloway in 1981.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Sunday April 15th at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, ME 04011. Following the Service a reception and luncheon will be held at the "farm" in Litchfield. Burial for Bill Sr. and Bill Jr. will be at Roger’s Cemetery, Topsham in May.
