BATH — Beginning this summer, University College at Bath/Brunswick will offer two graduate certificate programs through the University of Southern Maine.

Courses in the two programs, Response to Intervention (RTI) Academic and Response to Intervention (RTI) Behavior, will be delivered by video conference and online.

Certificate students in both programs will study the core features of RTI as a multi-tier system to support all students, according to a release. Both certificates are designed to prepare educators to design and implement systems of support which focus on establishing Tier I (core) curriculum practices as the foundation.

An informational session will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at University College at Bath/Brunswick in the Midcoast Center for Higher Education, 9 Park St.

The session will be hosted by Pat Red and Rachel Brown-Chidsey of USM’s Education and Psychology Program. To reserve a seat, call 442-7736.
