BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Town Council on Monday moved two meetings in April to accommodate panning for a proposed police station project and the submission of a budget from the Brunswick School Department.
The council approved a schedule that included a special Town Council meeting March 27 to discuss the police station project. However, that meeting has been canceled after a project cost estimate presented to town staff Tuesday exceeded expectations.
The revised schedule puts the next two Town Council meetings on April 9 and April 30, both at 7 p.m., in the town council chambers at Brunswick Station, 16 Station Ave.
The School Board is expected to pass its annual budget — working toward closing a gap of just under $3 million — at its April 25 meeting.
The Town Council will review the municipal budget at its April 30 meeting.
