BATH — “So You Think You Know Bath,” a live quiz show hosted by Main Street Bath, will take place Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for socializing and local cuisine. The game will continue until 9 p.m. or until a champion is crowned, according to a release.

The sixth annual event includes “a fresh set of questions designed to test contestants on their knowledge of the people, buildings and history – recent and not so recent — of Bath,” the release states. “The popular visual clue format lets the audience participate too … but no calling out the answers!”

Nine teams representing the Bath Area Family YMCA, the Bath Rotary Club, Regional School Unit 1, Patten Free Library, the city of Bath, Sagadahoc Preservation Inc., the Bath Historical Society, Maine Maritime Museum and the Friends of Seguin Lighthouse will compete in three preliminary rounds, with a final championship round to determine a winner.

A silent auction throughout the evening will benefit Main Street Bath and its mission to preserve and promote Bath’s historic downtown as a vibrant civic, community and commercial center.

Tickets cost $30 and are available from members of the Main Street Bath board, at the Main Street Bath office at 15 Commercial St., and downtown at Brick Store Antiques, Lisa-Marie’s Made-in-Maine, Now You’re Cooking and Ornament.
