She was born in Cocoa, Florida on July 1, 1950, and moved with her family to Maine soon after. She was the daughter of Anthony James and Nancy Jean (Flynn) Gatti.
She graduated in 1970 from Morse High School in Bath, Maine. Being a wife of a service man Mary Ann journeyed to Maine, Maryland, Puerto Rico, and ended in Jacksonville Florida.
Mary Ann was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who always took the time to help others, putting them first before taking care of her own needs. Many young adults besides her own children grew up calling her Mom because she would listen to their problems, give them advice and comfort, but never judged them. Her sense of humor, sometimes not realizing she had said something funny, kept many people smiling. She enjoyed antiquing, crafts, BINGO, traveling, tailgating, and the simple things life had to offer. She was an amazing woman that led an exemplary life and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Kevin “ Mike” Riley; sons Kevin Michael Riley Jr. (Monica) and Sean Patrick Riley; daughter Jennifer Ann Riley; parents Anthony and Nancy Gatti; brother Anthony Gatti (Carol); sisters Lisa Ann Gatti and Lori Ann Gatti- Phelps (Christopher) and was blessed to have two grandsons Christopher Caleb Manson and Braeden Michael Riley with whom she adored and were the world to her.
