She was born September 4, 1924 in Hartford, CT the daughter of Jerry and Marion ( Bragdon) Crosman. She was educated in Brunswick schools and graduated from Brunswick High School with the Class of 1934. She met and married Lawrence S. Weed in Everett, WA on July 23, 1943.
In 1945, she and her husband started L. S. Weed and Sons plumbing where she served as the bookkeeper retiring in 1977.
She enjoyed oil and water color painting and was an avid cribbage player who enjoyed being dealt a ” 29″ hand.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence S. Weed who died on August 8, 1995 and a son Timothy Weed who died April 19, 2003.
Survivors include a son Christopher A. Weed of Oxford, a daughter Rosemary Werry of Pomeroy, OH, eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Weed’s memory to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick.
