BRUNSWICK — The Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) for the former Brunswick Naval Air Station will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Brunswick Station.
Agenda items include:
— Overview of RAB, to include planning and field work to assess and update land use control investigations; due diligence evaluation to support Finding of Suitability Transfers or environmental cleanup; and other environmental assessments.
— Land use control investigations updates, to include evaluation of Sites 1 and 3 landfills (soil and groundwater); evaluation of Site 1 (soil and groundwater); update on Site 7; and Eastern Plume LUC boundary update.
— Due diligence evaluations, to include visual site inspection of “REC-7,” part of the recreation/conservation conveyance area to the town; and old building 76 alleged skeet range investigation.
— Other environmental assessments and cleanup status, to include Brunswick Skeet Range; Topsham Skeet Range; Merriconeag Stream assessment; ambient air assessment ( sites 1 and 3); quarry munitions and explosions of concern investigation/ clearance; quarry remedial investigation/feasibility study; Site 12 remedial investigation/ feasibility study; Site 12 fence; and background study (soils and groundwater).
