YARMOUTH
North Yarmouth Academy will stage “HONK!,” a musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “ The Ugly Duckling,” on Feb. 24, 25 and 26.
Local students with roles in the production include Alex Paige of Brunswick, Hadley Gibson of Freeport, Louisa Mahoney of Freeport, Iszi Mickunas of West Bath, Tess Hinchman of West Bath and Lily Dearing of Lisbon Falls.
Music for “ HONK!” was composed by George Stiles, book and lyrics by Anthony Drewe. The show promotes themes of tolerance.
The production includes 51 cast members and four student crew members. The show is directed by Nora Krainis with assistance from North Yarmouth Academy graduate Patia Maule and piano accompaniment by Janelle Powers.
Show times are 7 p.m. Feb. 24 and 25, as well as at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 and Feb. 26.

All performances will be held in Safford Center, 148 Main St., Yarmouth. All shows are open to the public.
