BRUNSWICK — Maine Authors Publishing of Rockland plans to sponsor a February Blues Book Bash on Feb. 25 at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St.

Independent authors will read, sign and sell their works, and offer information about writing and self-publishing, according to a release from the publishing company.

Coffee and baked goods will be available, along with tables for sitting, talking and listening to readings. The public is invited to come listen, chat with the authors, snack, browse and buy books (cash and checks preferred).

The authors are donating copies of their books and contributing 10 percent of their sales to Annual Book Fund at the library.

The February Blues Book Bash is scheduled to run from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Morrell Meeting Room.
