DAMARISCOTTA — Lincoln Theater will screen a film about the United Kingdom National Gallery exhibition titled “Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan,” at 2 p.m. Feb. 18, 7 p.m. Feb. 19 and 1 p.m. Feb. 22.

“In a first for movie audiences, the bigscreen presentation of ‘Leonardo Live’ gives art lovers the world over the opportunity to share in the excitement of viewing the unprecedented and historic exhibition, in the comfort of their local movie theater,” a Lincoln Theater release states. “The exhibition brings together the largest ever number of da Vinci’s paintings, including a new, neverbefore seen Leonardo painting. The program was captured on the eve of the exhibition opening in November 2011.”

Art historian Tim Marlow and presenter Mariella Frostrup serve as on-screen hosts of the program.

Tickets cost $9 for adults or $7 for children and seniors. Lincoln Theater members receive a $2 discount. To reserve seats, call the theater at 563-3424 or email info@lcct.org.
