He was born in Brunswick on February 10, 1968. As Rick grew up he made many friends and touched so many lives on so many levels.
Rick had three step children that he loved as his own, he did everything he could to show them the love that any father would and then on January 11th 2010 Sophia was born, his pride and joy, his everything. Rick never thought he could love another person so much as he did Sophia.
The work driven man that we all knew finally had a reason to stop and enjoy his life with his wife and family. For the first time in his life he found a woman, who was his true partner, friend and fiancé, Stacie completed the family he had been searching for his whole life. Rick and Stacie did so much together and were inseparable, they had so much in common and yet so little. It was a perfect match from the beginning. They valued each others time, though it was short, it was so sweet. Stacie will always remember Rick as the loving father and man that he was.
No matter what Rick was doing, no matter where he was you could always count on him, he always made time for his friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. So many people will mourn the loss of this great friend, father, son, and husband. He was a sincere confidant.
Rick worked for many years at Morin’s Fine Furniture & Refinishing as the manager. He truly loved his job and it was a big part of his life, he soon became part of the Morin Family. He was a perfectionist and customers were always complimenting on the great work he did. He always made a lasting impression with customers, because of his professionalism and his warm personality.
He was a very active person and never sat still, he enjoyed going to the gym and staying in shape, he was very proud of his physique and wasn’t shy to show it off.
He leaves his fiancé, Stacie Farrell of Auburn, his daughter, Sophia, and his three step children Serena, Maria and Mark, his father Ron Farr, and longtime friend Catherine Raynor. He will also be sadly missed by Cecile Maurais, Rob and Scott Lachance, Ricardo Rafanan, extended family in CA and many dear friends.
