GORHAM – Gorham police are looking for a woman armed with a gun who robbed the Big Apple store at 90 Main St. at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday night.
Sgt. Michael Nault reported that the woman entered the store and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The woman told the store clerk she had a gun. Nault said the woman fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The woman was described as white, and wearing a blue hoodie, scarf and a knit hat. She was described as between 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall with dark eyes. Her hair color is unknown.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Brian Key at 839-5046.
The Big Apple is near U.S. Cellular, 102 Main St., and Olympia Sports, 108 Main St., which were both robbed last month.
