CARLA MARIA SULLWOLD, a Brunswick resident and author of “Raising Rufus: A Maine Love Story,” shown here with Rufus, will discuss her novel at 7 p. m. Wednesday at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St., Brunswick. The free program, originally planned for last week, was rescheduled because of stormy weather. “‘Raising Rufus’ is a tender and tragic semi-autobiographical love story about an older couple, their Newfoundland dog, and their passion for the Maine coast,” a release from Curtis Friends, the event’s sponsor, states. Refreshments will be provided, and books will be available for purchase and signing.
