MI ZHANG, a sophomore at Brunswick High School, earned a spot on the High Honors roll for the first semester of the 2011-12 academic year. Her name was omitted from the honor roll originally submitted to the newspaper. Three local students are among 52 that will be inducted into the National Honor Society from Cheverus High School in Portland. ZACHARY WALKERELDERS is a senior from Lisbon Falls. He’ll be joined by juniors TESSA LINDSLEY of Bath and DANIELLE KANE of Brunswick. NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. An induction ceremony is planned Jan. 29 at the school.
